Job summary

The Gay Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team across our national network of parks. You will manage end-to-end AP processes in a high-volume environment, including supplier invoices, approvals and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely payments.

You will be highly organised, able to prioritise multiple tasks and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or similar), Microsoft Office and online banking platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• End-to-end accounts payable in high-volume environments.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Team player who can also work autonomously.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the invoice approval workflow system.
• Set up and management of creditor accounts.
• Process weekly creditor payments and ABA file uploads.
• Coordinate remittance notices to creditors.
• Reconcile accounts payable balance sheet accounts.
• Respond to supplier queries by email and phone.
• Manage internal stakeholders and expectations.
