Job summary

Law Partners is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team in Sydney CBD on a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working. You will manage supplier payments, disbursements and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with lawyers and internal teams, maintain financial records, and support month-end activities. A meticulous, proactive approach and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable position.
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using accounting systems and payment platforms.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and ability to work independently.
• Confident with building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable activities including weekly disbursements and supplier payments.
• Perform reconciliations and file maintenance to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with lawyers, operations, and suppliers to ensure timely processing.
• Handle GST-related and monthly supplier payments.
• Contribute to month-end close and financial reporting tasks.
