Job summary

Parkview Constructions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance team in Sydney. The role focuses on accurate processing of supplier, subcontractor and overhead payments across high-rise residential and commercial projects.

You will collaborate closely with Contract Administrators, Project Managers and the Finance Team to ensure timely invoicing, processing and cost control, while maintaining strong internal controls and relationships with suppliers.

Qualifications

• 18 months' experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Finance, Accounting or related qualification, or working towards one.
• Strong attention to detail with good internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and processing supplier, subcontractor and overhead invoices.
• Allocating invoices to projects, cost codes and GL accounts within Jobpac.
• Managing invoice workflows, approvals and payment controls.
• Processing approved subcontractor claims and supplier transactions via Payapps.
• Onboarding suppliers, maintaining vendor master data and compliance docs.
• Coordinating weekly supplier payment runs and urgent payments.
• Handling labour hire and other urgent supplier payments as needed.
• Investigating rejected invoices and resolving discrepancies with suppliers and project teams.
• Building relationships with Contract Administrators, Project Managers and site teams.
• Reconciliations of banking and corporate card transactions; supporting documentation.
• Supporting payroll-related statutory payments and BAS preparation.
• Assisting with creditor reconciliations, reporting and financial reporting.
