Sharp & Carter is assisting a client in Melbourne's north with an immediate start AP role. You will manage high-volume invoice processing, match invoices to purchase orders, and ensure timely payments through regular payment runs.

Position Description
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you will work in a close knit finance team and your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Matching invoices with purchase orders
• High volume invoice processing
• Ensuring timely payment of supplier invoices through the payment runs
• Statement reconciliations
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Management of relationships with suppliers
• Setting up new vendors and suppliers
• Handling queries - both internally and externally
• Ad hoc tasks as required

Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar end to end Accounts Payable position as well as the following attributes:

• Energetic and positive can do attitude, with a keen eye for detail
• Well developed verbal & written communication skills
• Prior experience in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Excellent time management & organisational skills
• Keen desire to roll up your sleeves and hit the ground running
• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
