Bayside Council in Sydney's southern gateway is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to join the Finance team on a 12-month parental leave cover. The role focuses on accurate processing of supplier invoices and credit notes, GST compliance, and delivering reliable payment processing.
You will verify invoices, prepare EFT payments, reconcile supplier statements, respond promptly to supplier enquiries, and mentor staff through Accounts Payable processes.
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 12-month contract (parental leave cover)
Convenient Rockdale location, close to public transport
Salary Range:From $77,050 - $86,296 pa + 12% superannuation

The job might sound simple, yet it’s a critical in supporting Council’s operations. This role is within the financial services team, along with 2 other team members you will manage invoices, credit notes, reconcile supplier accounts, and preparing EFT payments to help ensure every supplier is paid accurately and on time. You will also guide staff through Accounts Payable processes, respond to supplier enquiries and investigate anything that does not look quite right.

Salary Range:From $77,050 - $86,296 pa + 12% superannuation
