Job summary

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance team in Adelaide. You will manage creditor transactions, supplier payments and financial records, while supporting month-end activities and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

This role suits someone who thrives in a busy transactional environment, with strong attention to detail and a pride in delivering accurate financial processing.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable or similar transactional finance role.
• Experience processing accounts for payment using computerised accounting systems.
• Experience using online banking systems to process supplier payments.
• Demonstrated experience reconciling supplier and outstanding accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and within required timeframes.
• Maintain accurate vendor, creditor and financial records.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and investigate outstanding or incorrect transactions.

About the Opportunity
