Job summary

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking an Accounts Payable professional for our Parramatta office. You will validate invoices, liaise with vendors, and ensure timely payments in line with company policies.

Ideal candidates have firsthand AP experience, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 advantageous). Join a collaborative team supporting infrastructure and mining projects in NSW.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable or similar transactional finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical workload management.
• Proficiency with ERP or accounting software; Dynamics 365 a plus.
• Clear communication skills to professionally follow up on items.
• Understanding of three-way purchase order matching and invoice workflows.
• Collaborative approach within a close-knit support team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate validation of invoice data capture in the AP automation software.
• Review invoices for required data elements and communicate with vendors when missing
• Periodic reconciliation of vendor accounts
• Ensure the branches process creditors invoices in accordance with company policy
• Review and follow up of ageing invoices that have not been processed by branches.
• Ensure payments are processed in accordance to company policies
• Attend to enquiries from creditors relative to payment of accounts.
• Prompt response to enquiries by internal stake holders on vendor related matters.
• Assist in Vendor set up based on company policies.
• Assist with preparation of weekly payment vouchers
• Assist in developing relevant policies and required process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

About You
