Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking a customer-focused Product Support Representative to join our Adelaide team at the Cavan branch. This field-based role focuses on building customer relationships, improving fleet reliability, and delivering proactive parts and service solutions across your territory.

You will conduct on-site inspections, identify maintenance opportunities, and work with Sales, Parts and Service teams to maximise machine performance and uptime.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to Advanced level trade qualification in construction/mining.
• Strong knowledge of construction, earthmoving or mobile plant equipment.
• Ability to identify and communicate maintenance/repair requirements.
• Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational abilities.
• Experience using CRM systems is desirable.
• Willingness to travel within the designated region.

• Prepare proactive parts and service quotations.
• Complete machine health inspections and detailed condition reports using company systems.

• Promote Hitachi aftermarket solutions and value-added services.

The Opportunity

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking a customer-focused Product Support Representative to join our Adelaide team based at our Cavan branch. Supporting customers across your assigned territory, you'll work closely with equipment owners to maximise machine performance, identify maintenance opportunities, and deliver proactive parts and service solutions. This is a field-based role focused on building strong customer relationships, improving fleet reliability, and helping customers keep their equipment operating at its best.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite machine inspections and fleet assessments
• Identify maintenance, repair and component replacement opportunities
• Prepare proactive parts and service quotations
• Complete machine health inspections and detailed condition reports by use of Company provided systems and tools
• Support service agreement opportunities and renewals
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships within your territory

• Maintaining the CRM system to reflect activities performed within your region

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Intermediate to Advanced level trade qualification within the Construction and or Mining industry
• Strong working knowledge of construction, earthmoving or mobile plant equipment application
• Ability to identify and communicate maintenance and repair requirements
• Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills
• Strong organisational abilities
• Basic to Intermediate computer skills and experience using CRM systems
• Ability to work autonomously and travel throughout your designated region as required
