Job summary

WPE in Dubbo is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer on a flexible, part-time basis. You’ll manage invoicing cycles and support the finance team with accurate processing and timely payments. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or with the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounts Manager with weekly, fortnightly and monthly invoicing as required.
• Resolve account discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries about invoices and payments.
• Prepare and distribute accurate monthly statements.
• Assist with uploading invoices into customer portals.
• Process customer debtor applications.
• Allocate EFTPOS receipts in Xero.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required by senior staff.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (PART TIME - FLEXIBLE HOURS) - IMMEDIATE START

We’re looking for a motivated, organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly finance team in Dubbo!If you enjoy working with numbers, thrive in a supportive team environment and are looking for a role where you can make a real contribution, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Accounts Manager with weekly, fortnightly and monthly invoicing as required
• Resolve account discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
• Prepare and distribute accurate monthly statements.
• Assist Accounts Manager with upload of invoices into customer portals.
• Processing of customer debtor applications.
• Allocation of eftpos receipts in Xero.
• Ad hoc duties from time to time as required by Managing Director, Financial Accountant and Accounts Manager

About You:

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in Xero & MS Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and part of a team.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges.
