Job summary

Western Parcel Express in Dubbo is seeking a detail‑driven Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly finance team. This part‑time role offers flexible hours (22.8 hours per week) with potential to increase hours as the business grows.

You will support invoicing, reconcile accounts, and manage supplier statements while working closely with the Accounts Manager. A proactive, team‑oriented approach is valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in Xero & MS Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and part of a team.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounts Manager with weekly, fortnightly and monthly invoicing as required.
• Resolve account discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
• Prepare and distribute accurate monthly statements.
• Assist Accounts Manager with upload of invoices into customer portals.
• Processing of customer debtor applications.
• Allocation of eftpos receipts in Xero.
• Ad hoc duties from time to time as required by Managing Director, Financial Accountant and Accounts Manager
