Challenger Services Group is seeking a motivated Accounts Officer to join our Finance team. This role handles AP/AR tasks and procurement processes while supporting day-to-day financial operations. You will work with a supportive team, gain exposure across accounting functions, and contribute to process improvements.

A 5+ year background in accounts payable/receivable and strong Excel skills are essential. Modern office near Central Station in Sydney offers training and career growth

Formación

• 5+ years' experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or a similar role.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
• Analytical, organised and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving and prioritisation abilities.
• Self-motivated and works well independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Process supplier invoices and support accounts payable activities.
• Raise customer invoices and support accounts receivable functions.
• Process procurement orders and maintain records.
• Allocate and post daily bank receipts and payments.
• Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations.
• Follow up outstanding balances and resolve queries.
• Assist with reporting, financial analysis and process improvement.
• Maintain accurate financial records and compliance with procedures.
