Job summary

Deanes Coaches is seeking an Accounts & Compliance Administrator to join our Hume ACT depot. This hands-on role combines finance, compliance and operational support in a small, close-knit team where your work makes a real difference daily.

You will handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing and maintain compliance registers, while providing general admin support to our operations team. You will also answer phones and assist with charter and tour bookings, reporting to the CFO.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, compliance or high-compliance environments.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Experience in transport operations, logistics, or another high-compliance environment
• Superior attention to detail and a methodical, accurate approach
• Experience in accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
• Confident with accounting software and Microsoft 365
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities
• Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential payroll and financial information
• A team player with a positive, helpful approach
