Bentleys Victoria is a purpose driven Top 12 AFR firm seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a diverse client portfolio and act as a trusted adviser to business owners and private clients.

You will deliver proactive accounting, taxation and advisory solutions, providing commercial insights and contributing to specialised consulting. You will mentor team members and partner with leadership to grow the practice.

• Significant experience in a public practice accounting environment.

About the Role

As a Accounting Manager, you will:

• Manage and grow a diverse client portfolio, taking ownership of client relationships and becoming a trusted adviser to business owners and private clients.
• Deliver proactive accounting, taxation and advisory solutions, providing commercial insights and contributing to specialised consulting and corporate advisory engagements.
• Alongside the rest of the leadership team, mentor and support team members, helping to develop capability, manage workflow and drive successful client outcomes alongside the broader leadership team.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships, expand service offerings and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
• Work closely with Partners to build long-term client connections and support the future succession and growth plans of the business.

About you

You’ll be a good fit for the Accounting Manager role if you have:

• Significant experience within a public practice accounting environment.
• Strong technical accounting and taxation expertise.
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and providing business advisory services.
• Proven leadership capability with the ability to mentor, coach and develop team members.
