Job summary

The Town of Victoria Park seeks an Accountant to manage comprehensive financial tasks including end-of-month processing, taxation obligations, revenue recognition, bank reconciliations, and cash management while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

You will provide accurate financial information to stakeholders, support financial reporting and audits, and contribute to continuous improvement within a warm, flexible workplace near Albany Hwy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce from a recognised university with relevant accounting experience;
• Possession of, or working towards, a membership of a professional accounting organisation is highly desirable;
• Working knowledge of relevant Australian Accounting Standards and other applicable legislation, policies and procedures;
• Demonstrated time management and organisational skills;
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
