Job summary

Ivory Group in Sydney is seeking a permanent Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations and assist with reporting. This is a fully office-based role, Monday to Friday, with a focus on civil construction projects and team collaboration across the business.

The role requires tertiary accounting qualifications and experience with Xero, plus strong attention to detail and communication. You will contribute to month-end processes, budgeting, and project cost control within a hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Proven accounting experience, ideally in civil construction/contracting.
• Experience using Xero accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project costs and financials across FRP concrete structure projects.
• Manage account reconciliations and maintain financial records.
• Assist with month-end and EOFY reporting and closing processes.
• Support budgeting and financial management across the business.
• Monitor project finances and operational costs for accuracy.
• Assist with payroll and day-to-day accounting duties.

A permanent opportunity. As an Accountant you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Working closely with the wider team, you will manage core accounting functions, assist with financial reporting and support the business's ongoing operations. • Experience with FRP (Form, Reinforcement and Pouring) concrete structures highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
