Job summary

Holcim Australia is seeking an Account Manager for Aggregates to lead end-to-end account management and drive sales in a busy market. Based in Petrie QT, you will manage a high volume of customers, deliver on targets, and contribute to commercial strategy in a sustainable building materials business.

This autonomous role offers a structured contact plan, credit oversight, and collaboration with operations and logistics to maximise performance and ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales/account management ideally gained within concrete/civil construction or building materials.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to meet targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a structured customer contact plan within allocated accounts and budget targets.
• Maintain and enhance relationships to build loyalty and maximise future business.
• Identify and follow up new business, product and project opportunities within current customers.
• Resolve customer issues and disputes promptly and professionally; coordinate internal staff as needed.
• Ensure customers trade within allocated credit limits and assist in risk management.
• Promote full product and service range to maximise up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert leads in line with budget targets.
• Ensure tenders and quotes are processed according to approved procedures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technical and Logistics to maximise performance.
