Job summary

Peninsula Hot Springs is seeking a Part Time Accommodation Reception Assistant to join our team. As the first contact for accommodation guests, you will provide warm, personalised service, check guests in and out, and offer informed recommendations to enhance their stay.

Availability is required Wednesday to Saturday. You should have hospitality experience and strong communication skills, with comfort using Microsoft Office, booking systems and POS software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist accommodation guests, checking them in and out.

The Role

We are currently seeking a Part Time Accommodation Reception Assistant to join our team at Peninsula Hot Springs.

As the first point of contact for our accommodation guests, you will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, providing personalised service and helping create memorable guest experiences. This is a part time role, with Wednesday to Saturday availability required.

Your day will see you:

• Working in out accommodation team across our Ecolodges and Glamping offerings.
• Welcoming our accommodation guests with professional, engaging and personalised service.
• Checking guests in and out, assisting with general enquiries and anticipating their needs throughout their stay.
• Sharing knowledge of Peninsula Hot Springs products and experiences to make personalised recommendations to guests.
• Collaborating with others across the business to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Supporting the daily operation of our accommodation facilities, helping ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Help ensure accommodation facilities are well maintained and meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.

About You

You will have previous experience within the hospitality industry, preferably within accommodation, and bring a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

You are an approachable and confident communicator who enjoys connecting with guests and colleagues alike. You can multitask, adapt quickly when priorities change and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to confidently use Microsoft Office, booking systems and point-of-sale software will help you succeed in this role.
