Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
grow with you is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a group of SIL homes in New South Wales. You will manage Residential Care Team Leads, Support Workers and a SIL Administrator, ensuring high-quality support and smooth day-to-day operations.
You’ll spend substantial time in the houses, so a current driver’s licence and vehicle are essential. The role focuses on participant independence, community participation and compliant, person-centred care across multiple homes.
Our client is an established, registered NDIS provider supporting people with physical, intellectual and psychosocial disability to live in their own homes and be part of their communities. Their teams get to know each person’s routines, preferences and goals, and every decision starts with what that person needs.
This is a chance to lead a group of SIL homes and shape the quality of support across them, including for people with complex needs. You’ll report to the Operations Manager and lead the Residential Care Team Leads, Support Workers and a SIL Administrator who make each house work. You’ll be the first point of contact and support for your team, resolving issues at your level and escalating through the right channels when needed.
You’ll spend plenty of time in the houses, so a current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
Leading and coaching Residential Care Team Leads and Support Workers to deliver support that builds participants’ independence and community participation, and that your team is proud of.

Overseeing incident management, including reportable incidents and any regulated restrictive practices, and making timely notifications to the NDIS Commission.

Building strong working relationships with families, guardians, support coordinators and allied health teams.
Growing your team’s skills through training, regular feedback and clear expectations.
Operational management experience in SIL, disability accommodation or a similar community setting.
Experience supporting people with complex needs, which could include mental health, acquired brain injury, cognitive disability or behaviours of concern.
A working knowledge of the NDIS, the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct, and the role of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Experience reporting incidents and restrictive practices through the NDIS Commission Portal.
Experience working within a quality or compliance framework.
Keep your inbox, tasks and records up to date, and like to plan tomorrow before you leave today.

Bring warmth and practical follow-through in equal measure, and help your team do the same.
