Job summary

Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure seeks an Executive Support Officer (Aboriginal Identified) to support Aboriginal Strategy, Policy and Engagement. The role is temporary full-time for up to six months with potential extension and locations beyond Parramatta.

Location Parramatta; other NSW locations considered on application. Salary $102,936 to $113,579 per annum plus superannuation, relative to experience.

Qualifications

• Organisation and administration: Describe how you coordinated meetings, events, travel or office tasks and kept the required records in order.
• Multiple tasks and deadlines: Explain how you tracked project actions, updated a plan or balanced competing tasks to meet agreed timeframes.
• Written and verbal communication: Use correspondence, a report or an enquiry to show how you communicated clearly and directed information to the appropriate person.
• Attention to detail: Describe the checks you used to keep databases, project records or business documents accurate and up to date.
• Microsoft Office and business systems: Name the tools you used for records, research or coordination and explain how they supported the team’s work.
• Collaboration and respectful community relationships: Show how you worked with stakeholders or diverse communities, listened to their needs and maintained respectful communication.
