Zusammenfassung

Aboriginal Housing Victoria is seeking a Housing Officer to establish sustainable tenancies and manage properties for Aboriginal Victorians. The role requires working with clients with complex needs, collaborating with support services, and ensuring accurate records within the regulatory framework.

The position is based in Fitzroy North with travel to the south-eastern metropolitan region and is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates only.

Qualifikationen

• Awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal cultures and issues affecting Aboriginal people.
• Knowledge of tenancy and property management requirements (Residential Tenancies Act 1997) or ability to acquire quickly.
• Ability to work autonomously and take personal responsibility for tasks.
• Experience with clients with complex needs and conflict management.
• Ability to collaborate with AHV, external services and government bodies.
• Ability to monitor data integrity and maintain accurate records.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
