• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families to advocate for Indigenous students.
• Ability to work with school leadership to build cultural capacity and partnerships with local Aboriginal communities.

Responsibilities

• Work with the school leadership team to implement the Diocesan Action Plan for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education.
• Encourage students to take pride in their schooling and cultural identity.
• Promote welcome and belonging and respect for Aboriginal cultures within the school community.
• Support development of individualised plans with cultural, curriculum and career goals for students.
• Develop partnerships with local Aboriginal communities, families and the school.
