Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga is seeking a Casual Aboriginal School and Community Educator to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and their children in Albury and surrounding NSW schools.

The role focuses on learning, pastoral and spiritual wellbeing, building partnerships with local Elders and community organisations, and working across primary and secondary settings. NSW Working with Children Check is required.

Formación

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
• Ability to engage and connect with Aboriginal Elders and local community organisations.
• Hold a current NSW Driver's Licence.
• Hold NSW Working with Children Check.
• Willing to undertake National Criminal History Check.

Responsabilidades

• Support Aboriginal students' learning, pastoral and spiritual wellbeing.
• Communicate with Aboriginal families and school personnel, forming partnerships with local organisations.
• Travel between schools as required.
