Job summary

Ascent Carpentry specialises in structural timber framing for luxury residential construction across Sydney. We are a growing team that takes pride in quality workmanship and setting apprentices up to become strong tradespeople.

We are looking for a 3rd year apprentice carpenter to join our framing crews on high-end residential builds, working with experienced lead carpenters from the ground up. You’ll read plans, set out and cut to spec, maintain a safe site, and learn from our lead carpenters

Qualifications

• Currently a 3rd year apprentice carpenter.
• Hands-on experience framing homes — this is essential.
• White Card.
• Own reliable transport and driver's licence.
• Own basic hand tools.
• Strong work ethic, punctual, and keen to learn.
• Good attitude and works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Structural timber wall, floor, and roof framing on luxury residential projects.
• Reading and working from plans.
• Setting out and cutting to spec.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised site.
• Learning from and supporting our lead carpenters.
