Job summary

Sea Breeze Projects is seeking a 2nd year apprentice carpenter to join our Sydney-based residential building team. You will work on-site across framing, fit-off, and external works, developing practical skills within our in-house carpentry team.

Ideal candidates are currently in their apprenticeship, hold a White Card, and own basic hand tools. A reliable, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn are essential for long-term growth with our quality renovations and custom homes.

Qualifications

• Registered 2nd year apprenticeship in carpentry.
• White Card required to work on sites.
• Driver's licence and own car preferred due to multiple sites across Sydney.
• Own basic hand tools preferred for on-site tasks.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn on residential projects.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow directions within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters across framing, fit-off, external works and general site tasks.
• Work on residential projects across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Sutherland Shire.
• Learn from experienced carpenters and foremen on-site.

Job description

Sea Breeze Projects is looking for a 2nd year apprentice carpenter to join our team.

We're a Sydney residential builder working mainly across the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Sutherland Shire. Our work is high-quality renovations, extensions and custom homes, and all our carpentry is done in house by our own team.

This role would suit someone who is already in their apprenticeship, enjoys being on site, wants to learn properly and takes pride in doing things the right way. If you're currently with another employer, we'll take over your training contract.

About the role

You’ll be working alongside our carpenters and site team across a range of residential projects. The work is varied and hands-on, with plenty of opportunity to build your skills across framing, fit-off, external works, general site work and detailed residential carpentry.

We’re not looking for someone who just wants to cruise through their apprenticeship. We want someone reliable, keen and switched on who wants to be part of a good crew.

What we’re looking for

• Registered apprentice carpenter in your 2nd year
• White Card
• Driver's licence and your own car (essential – our sites are spread across Sydney)
