Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a HSE Officer to join our Mining & Minerals North West (MMNW) team. This entry-level role provides a strong pathway into a mature, industry-leading business with a deep commitment to safety and wellbeing through the HSE Pathway Program and structured mentoring.

This Perth-based role includes site travel as you progress, with the chance to learn from our Senior HSE leadership team and gain practical skills across Pilbara projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
• Experience in allied health fields beneficial; transferable skills encouraged.
• Willingness to undertake site travel and rostered roles.

Responsibilities

• Utilise knowledge and experience to resolve HSE issues and identify improvement actions.
• Maintain the MMNW HSE lessons learnt library.
• Support the HSE Manager with day-to-day operation of the HSE management system.
• Participate in field-based placements and provide ad hoc HSE coverage as ready.
• Organise information into HSE forms, registers, reports or databases and disseminate to others.
• Work cooperatively with internal stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Monadelphous is seeking a HSE Officer to join our Mining & Minerals North West (MMNW) team. The successful applicant will enter our HSE Pathway Program, gaining the opportunity to learn from and work alongside our highly experienced Senior HSE leadership team through structured mentoring and coaching.

This entry‑level role provides a strong pathway into a mature, industry‑leading business with a deep commitment to safety and wellbeing. As part of the program, you will be enrolled in our HSE Passport, a structured development framework that combines self‑directed learning with field‑based verification of practical HSE skills. These skills will be developed through supported site allocations across our projects and operations within the Pilbara region.

This role is Perth‑based, with site travel becoming more frequent as you progress and build confidence within the HSE Pathway Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilise knowledge and experience to resolve HSE issues and to identify improvement / corrective actions
• Maintain the MMNW HSE lessons learnt library
• Support the HSE Manager with the day‑to‑day operation of our HSE management system
• Actively participate in field‑based placements and provide ad hoc HSE coverage toward the end of the program, once ready for supported allocations.
• Organise information into HSE forms, registers, reports or databases for dissemination to others. Maintains and stores HSE related information and responds to requests for currently available information
• Work cooperatively with internal stakeholders to achieve common business goals

What you’ll bring

• A positive, team focused attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the HSE discipline
• Willingness and ability to undertake site travel and rostered roles
• Strong written and interpersonal skills
• Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Work Health & Safety or similar is advantageous
• Experience in a relevant allied health field, such as exercise physiology or physiotherapy, would be beneficial; however, candidates with transferable skills and relevant experience from other backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
