Job summary

Amazon Sydney, NSW seeks a Facilities Operations Centre (FOC) Engineer to lead a newly developed 24x7 operations centre for data center infrastructure. You will monitor and manage critical systems, drive reliability, and coordinate across software, hardware, and network teams to ensure uninterrupted service.

You will mentor staff, shape incident response, and participate in post-incident reviews to continuously improve operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction or project management experience.
• 2+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the data center facilities infrastructure end-to-end.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during incidents and outages.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews and improvements.
• Develop and refine escalation protocols and tools for faster responses.
• Mentor and grow the operations team.
