Job summary

Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd in Melbourne, Australia, seeks a Facilities Operations Centre team member to monitor and coordinate 24/7 data centre infrastructure. You will be the trusted contact for internal engineering and external partners, driving rapid resolution during incidents and shaping post-mortem insights.

The role is shift-based in a new capability, focusing on operational excellence, real-time monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration across IT and facilities teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.
• 1+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience.
• 1+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coordinate and drive excellence across each shift in a 24/7 data centre environment.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical signals to maintain optimal performance and serve as the point of contact for internal engineers and external partners.
• Coordinate recovery during Large Scale Events and Critical Site Events; contribute lessons learned via post-mortems.
• Support communication protocols, tools development and a culture of operational excellence across the organisation.
