Job summary

Amazon in Australia is seeking a Facilities Operations Centre professional to join a new 24/7 data centre operations team. You will monitor critical infrastructure, coordinate responses, and ensure reliable outcomes across shifts.

In this role you interpret signals from electrical and mechanical systems, act as a communication bridge to engineering partners, and drive post-incident improvements in a high‑stakes environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.
• 1+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coordinate, and drive excellence across every shift in the data centre.
• Interpret signals from electrical and mechanical systems to maintain optimal performance.
• Serve as the trusted point of contact for internal engineering teams and external partners during operations and incidents.
• Coordinate recovery during Large Scale Events and Critical Site Events and provide post‑mortem insights.
• This is shift work in a 24/7 environment.
