Job summary

Universal Care Co. is building a dedicated 24/7 support team in the Mount Coolum area. We seek experienced female support workers who bring calm, reliability and genuine care to participants daily life.

You will provide personal care and daily living support, assist with community access, follow care plans, monitor seizures, and document shifts. A steady, patient approach and strong communication are essential, with roster flexibility including sleepovers and activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support; complex behaviours and positive behaviour support advantageous.
• Experience with epilepsy and seizure management advantageous.
• Life experience, patience, steady grounded approach.
• Flexible availability across 24/7 roster including days, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and activities.
• Reliable, good communicator and committed to consistency.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Current driver's licence and insured vehicle.
• Epilepsy and emergency seizure training (or willingness to complete).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, daily living and household assistance.
• Support community access, activities and social connections.
• Follow a comprehensive Care Plan designed with the participant.
• Monitor for seizures and respond per seizure management plan.
• Document shift notes and incident reports clearly and accurately.
• Collaborate with family, team and allied health professionals to maintain consistency.
