Job summary

MS Queensland is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to provide in-home and community-based care for individuals with high and complex support needs across Albany Creek and Caboolture. Rotating 24/7 roster, apartments and community settings, with person-centred care aligned to each care plan.

Part-time and casual roles available, with a guaranteed 10 hours fortnight minimum for part-time and flexible shifts for casual staff; SCHADS pay and salary packaging, with potential progression

Qualifications

• Completed Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications up to date.
• Experience with high/complex needs and neurological conditions is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality personal care and daily living support.
• Support community access and participation to build independence.
• Provide medication support and assist with medical appointments as required.
• Deliver complex supports per care plans (catheter/bowel care, transfers, PEG feeding).
• Monitor wellbeing, document accurately, and respond to changes promptly.
• Maintain records and follow care plans, policies and safe work practices.
