Job summary

Young Mindz in Queensland seeks an experienced Disability Support Worker to assist a male participant with MS in Rathdowney, delivering compassionate personal care, mobility support and daily living tasks. You will follow care plans, support independence and community participation, while maintaining accurate documentation.

Training and certifications are provided to grow in complex care, in-home and community support services.

Qualifications

• NDIS Orientation Completion Certificate.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, First Aid and CPR.
• Australian Driver's Licence, reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in support work, community services, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Implement care plans & behaviour support strategies.
• Prepare nutritious meals and support healthy routines.
• Encourage independence, community participation and social engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting.
