Job summary

All Types of Care Queensland – Rockhampton QLD is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist clients in Supported Independent Living, Community Access, and Sleepover shifts. You will provide in-home support, enable greater independence, and help clients engage with local community activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support or related field is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, car registration and insurance.
• Ability to obtain NDIS screening, Blue Card and Police check.
• Strong communication and adaptability in a home-care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home support to help individuals achieve greater independence.
• Facilitate client engagement in community activities.
• Empower clients to explore opportunities within their local community.
• Assist clients in Supported Independent Living settings.
• Support clients during Community Access activities.
• Collaborate and provide assistance to clients demonstrating challenging behaviours.
