Job summary

Whittens is seeking a 2/1 FIFO Contracts Administrator to support our FRP infrastructure project in NSW. You will report to the Project Manager within a wider Commercial team, handling contracts administration, variations, reporting and claims management for remote civil infrastructure works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in contracts administration for civil contracting environments is highly regarded.
• Ability to understand, interpret and administer contracts and subcontracts.
• Strong cost control and reporting capabilities are essential.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of Contracts Administration including head contract management, BOQ, month ends, variations, reporting and claims for remote civil infrastructure projects.
• Support the FRP infrastructure project in NSW and coordinate with the broader Commercial team.
• Report directly to the Project Manager and contribute to contract governance and administration.

THE ROLE

We are recruiting a 2/1 FIFO Contracts Administrator to support our FRP infrastructure project in NSW.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager and as part of a wider Commercial team, this role will be responsible for all aspects of Contracts Administration, including head contract management, bill of quantities, month ends, variations, reporting and claims management for our remote civil infrastructure projects which includes complex FRP/Tunnel lining.

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying (preferred) or Commerce, Law, Construction Management or Civil Engineering- A must


• Demonstrated experience in a similar position with a self-perform Civil Contractor –Highly regarded


• Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and administer contracts and subcontracts and experience with both downstream and upstream


• Solid understanding of cost control and reporting
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
