Job summary

Central Coast Group Training (CCGT) is seeking a 1st Year Civil Construction Apprentice for a full-time role on the Central Coast. You will be employed by CCGT and placed with a host employer to complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction (General).

This is a 40-hour week with an RDO, typically 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime possible. Start ASAP; hands-on learning across diverse civil projects.

Qualifications

• This role involves first-year civil construction duties while training toward a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction (General).
• Focus on learning site safety, tools, equipment, and civil site operations.
• Over time, gain experience across excavation, pipelaying and general civil tasks.

Responsibilities

• Learn site safety and how civil sites operate.
• Assist with excavation, backfilling and site preparation.
• Help with pipelaying and general civil construction work.
• Spot machinery and work safely around plant and equipment.
• Use hand and power tools and support tradespeople.
