Job summary

UAP Brisbane is seeking a People & Learning Coordinator to help keep day-to-day HR and learning activities running smoothly across our Australian operations.

You will own routine People & Learning tasks, support managers and employees with policies, and play a hands-on role in recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, training, and reporting.

The role requires initiative, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to improve systems like our HRIS, ELMO, and related processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified in HR or L&D with relevant discipline.
• 2–3 years’ experience in HR, learning and development, or a similar role.
• Experience supporting core HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Australian employment legislation and modern awards.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day People & Learning activities including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, learning, performance and reporting.
• Provide practical guidance to managers and staff on policies and processes and escalate complex issues.
• Assist with employee matters, gathering information and preparing recommendations.
• Coordinate recruitment tasks with hiring managers and support interviews and offers.
• Maintain onboarding, induction, and offboarding records and documentation.
• Support HRIS/ELMO administration and data accuracy, and assist with training programs.
• Contribute to HR reporting, compliance activities, audits, and safety documentation.
• Help with return-to-work planning and workplace rehabilitation when needed.
