Job summary

OneSchool Global Berwick Campus seeks a Specialist Learning Support Teacher to commence in January 2027 on a permanent, part-time (0.4 FTE) basis, working 1:1 with students with high needs. You will be a VIT-registered teacher with a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus, and be skilled at differentiating instruction, collecting data, and developing IEPs to guide staff.

Experience with ASD and Life Skills programs is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• VIT-registered teacher with an understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus.
• Experience identifying and evaluating student needs, differentiating instruction, collecting and analysing data, and creating and implementing IEPs.
• Experience working with students with ASD.
• Ability to engage and support teenage boys.
• Experience with high-need autism up to Level 3 ASD and Life Skills programs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate student needs and differentiate instruction.
• Collect and analyse data and implement IEPs.
• Provide professional guidance to staff.
• Provide targeted support during lessons and study time, including online (Zoom).
• Collaborate with Campus Student Support Lead and subject teachers.
