Job summary

OneSchool Global Maitland Campus is seeking a Campus Student Support Assistant to join our Maitland campus in Term 1 2027 on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will provide dedicated one-to-one support for a student with complex learning, communication barriers and behavioural needs, including Autism, and work closely with the Learning Support Teacher to implement structured strategies that support academic, social and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Education Support or equivalent.
• Experience supporting students with complex needs, including Autism.
• WWCC (Working With Children Check) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a student with complex needs.
• Work with Learning Support Teacher to implement structured strategies.
• Assist the student to engage in classroom routines and learning activities.
• Maintain dignity, safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Support communication tools and self-regulation strategies.
