Your profile
- Professional experience: Completed training in gastronomy or the hotel industry, ideally with Sommelier certification.
- Wine expertise: Sound knowledge of national and international wines – especially from Austria, Italy and France.
- Advisory expertise: A passion for advising guests expertly and with enthusiasm.
- Organizational talent: Responsibility for proper storage, logistics, and optimal availability of the wines.
- Strong communication skills: Excellent communication skills in German and/or English, along with the ability to keep a cool head even in demanding situations.
- Appearance: A well-groomed appearance and a confident, friendly manner.
- Creativity & initiative: Helping to shape the wine list and building the wine cellar with a personal touch.
- Further development: An interest in tastings, trade fairs, and winery visits to stay on top of trends and new developments in the wine market.
- Team spirit: Close collaboration with the kitchen, service and management for the perfect wine pairing.
- Spirit of innovation: Openness to new trends and techniques in pâtisserie.
- Commute: For winter sports fans, the commute can be done by ski or snowboard – including first and last line on the empty slopes.
Your responsibilities
- Wine consultation & service: Recommending and serving wines to match the menus, including decanting and presentation.
- Wine selection & purchasing: coordination with Manfred Kleiner as well as participation in tastings and wine purchases.
- Wine list & range: Maintaining and developing the wine list with around 450 selections – from demi to large-format bottles.
- Storage & logistics: Professional storage, inventory control and organization of the wine cellar.
- Guest experience: Creating an unforgettable wine experience – with expertise, passion, and personality.
- Quality assurance: Ensuring the highest standards in wine service and in handling glass, temperature and storage.

We offer full-time employment with 5- or 6-day week (40 / 48 hrs.) with 1 – 2 evening shifts per week incl. attractive Gross salary from € 3,000 or € 3,500 (pay above the Hotel & Gastronomy collective agreement, with the option of additional adjustment depending on qualifications). On top of that, you also get a share of the tips, holiday and Christmas bonuses (pro rata), free board and lodging, and other goodies!
