Job summary

Bybit, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a Compliance professional in Austria (Vienna) to design and run regulatory programs across MiCAR, MiFID, and PSD II, while monitoring EU and Austrian laws. You will work with internal teams on training and policy updates and support license applications in Austria.

The role requires a law degree and 3+ years in regulatory/legal roles, with fluency in German and English and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Law degree (LLB/JD/Mag. iur./LL.M. or equivalent).
• 3+ years of legal/regulatory experience, ideally in-house, regulator, financial firm or law firm.
• Experience with Austrian/EU laws relating to regulatory compliance (MiCAR, MiFID, E-Money Directive / PSD2).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, notably MiCAR, MiFID, and PSD II.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits to identify non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments, advising the business on necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including training and awareness programs.
• Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory reports and documentation to ensure timely compliance.
• Support the business in obtaining and maintaining licenses and regulatory approvals in Austria.
