Job summary

Bybit EU GmbH in Vienna, Austria, seeks an experienced contract lawyer to draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, from vendor contracts to strategic partnerships.

You will own the contract lifecycle from intake to renewal, ensuring compliance with Austrian and EU laws. The role requires strong written and spoken German and English, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Law degree (LLB, JD, Mag. iur., LL.M., or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of legal experience.
• Strong knowledge of Austrian and EU contract and regulatory law.
• Experience handling official legal requests (court orders, inquiries).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts including agreements, NDAs, and strategic partnerships.
• Own end-to-end contract lifecycle from intake, redlining, approval, execution, renewal, and termination.
• Provide clear legal support to internal stakeholders across procurement, operations, tech, and finance.
• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external counsel for complex negotiations or multi-jurisdictional matters.
• Develop and maintain a centralized contract management system and monitor obligations.
