Job summary

Wilde in Vienna seeks an experienced General Manager to lead our flagship property, overseeing overall operations and profitability. You will work closely with commercial and revenue teams to drive growth and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role demands a strong leader with 5+ years in a similar GM capacity, especially in lifestyle hotels or aparthotels, and a background in F&B. English CVs preferred for this role, with a compelling plan to elevate performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior General Manager level role in lifestyle hotel/aparthotel with F&B experience.
• Proven track record in driving revenues through strategic commercial initiatives.
• Humble, approachable leader who fosters an inclusive work environment.
• Forward-thinking, innovative leader who improves operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support all HODs in running the property: front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, sales and revenue.
• Ensure departments operate within brand SOPs and act on feedback promptly.
• Regularly evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Produce forecasts for revenues and costs and monitor against budgets.
• Ensure hotel compliance with legislation and Staycity Group H&S requirements.
• Deliver department-specific training plans aligned with strategic goals.
• Foster collaboration across departments and effective communication.
• Address guest feedback and resolve disputes professionally and promptly.
• Engage with local community and charity initiatives.
• Contribute to sustainability criteria such as Green Key.
