Job summary

Dolpheen IT seeks a Test Manager to own the test strategy and planning for customer programmes. You will define quality gates, entry/exit criteria, and reporting to inform steering committees. You will coordinate test execution across functional, automation and performance work, and manage defects and UAT with business stakeholders.

You will perform risk-based prioritisation and defend decisions when schedules shorten while staying close enough to technical work to ensure reports reflect reality.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in software testing with at least two in test management or coordination.
• Experience running testing in enterprise programmes with multiple parties.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification or equivalent with willingness to certify.
• Confident in presenting quality risks to business stakeholders.
• German and English at working level; SAP transformations or tool migrations a plus.

Responsibilities

That is this role. It is a delivery responsibility, not a people-management one — you steer the testing, not the headcount.What you will do## The work.* Own test strategy and planning for one or more customer programmes* Define quality gates, entry and exit criteria, and the reporting that lets a steering committee decide* Coordinate test execution across functional, automation and performance work* Manage defect processes and UAT with business stakeholders* Do risk-based prioritisation — decide what gets tested when the schedule shortens, and defend that decision* Stay close enough to the technical work to know whether a green report means anythingWhat you bring## What we look for.* At least five years in software testing, with at least two in test management or coordination* Experience running testing in enterprise programmes with several parties involved* ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager, or the equivalent in practice with the willingness to certify* Confident in front of business stakeholders — you can explain a quality risk to someone who does not want to hear it* German and English at working levelExperience with SAP transformations, regulated environments or tool migrations is an advantage.Compensation## What we pay.The minimum salary under the Austrian IT collective agreement for this position (ST2, standard level) is EUR 4,611 gross per month, paid 14 times per year, for the Vienna-based role. We pay significantly above this depending on qualification and experience.
