You will translate complex technical contexts into clear texts for the target audience, create/edit technical illustrations, perform independent research with specialist departments, and help ensure documentation stays up to date and accurate.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical or linguistic training with an interest in technology.
• Impeccable German linguistic expression and the ability to formulate complex contexts in an understandable way.
• Experience as a technical editor in a mechanical engineering company, whereby knowledge of XML-based editing systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of 3D-CAD applications (Solidoworks Composer or similar).
• Sound knowledge of MS Office.
• You have a high sense of responsibility and strong communication skills and you are reliable and goal-oriented.

• You will create and maintain our standard-compliant technical documentation, such as operating and assembly instructions for our machines and systems.
• You will prepare the relevant texts for the target group in a way that is easy to understand, correct and suitable for translation.
• You will create and edit technical illustrations from various source formats.
• Your will carry out technical research independently in coordination with the specialist departments.
• By adhering to the documentation processes and the relevand standards and guidlines, you will make a significant contribution to ensuring that our documentation is up to date and correct all times.
