Deel is seeking a technical leader to coordinate a team building internal tools and automation solutions for Customer Experience, Operations and Customer Success. You’ll drive technical excellence while collaborating with business stakeholders and remaining hands-on in development.

In this role you’ll own system integrations, improve workflows, and contribute AI-driven automation. You’ll balance architecture planning with practical delivery, promoting security, maintainability, and scalable

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or automation engineering roles.
• 3+ years of proven leadership or team coordination experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Go, etc.)
• Experience with API development, integrations, or workflow automation
• Demonstrated ability to design and maintain scalable, reliable systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure).

• Coordinate and lead the day-to-day work of a technical team delivering internal tools and automations.
• Act as a hands-on contributor while guiding others in design and development.
• Maintain system integrations and workflows across Zendesk, Jira, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into automated solutions.
• Contribute to AI initiatives with workflow improvements and automation.
• Promote best practices and documentation for maintainability and security.
• Participate in architecture discussions and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Monitor performance and optimize applications based on data.
