Job summary

Volue is seeking a Technical Consultant to bridge between customers and the development team for Volue Timeseries Hub. You will address integration and design questions, transform needs into clear specifications, and act as the central link for both on-premises and SaaS customers.

The role includes project management, QA, and customer support. The position requires a degree in CS/ informatics or energy-related field, several years in IT consulting, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, energy engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in IT consulting, application support or customer projects, ideally in the energy sector.
• Experience in project management.
• Skills in databases (SQL), interfaces (REST, file formats) and SaaS environments are a plus.
• A structured, solution-oriented way of working and confidence with customers.
• Fluent German and English.

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for key customers on integration and design questions.
• Write requirements documents and functional specifications.
• Serve as the central link between our on-premises and SaaS customers and our development team.
• Manage customer projects for new and existing customers: requirements analysis and specification, project management, QA and acceptance of developments, installation on customer systems.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level support for Volue Timeseries Hub.

We are now looking for a Technical Consultant to join our team. You will be the link between our customers and our development team, helping energy companies get the most out of their time series data, whether they run on-premises or in the cloud.

The role

You will be the trusted technical contact for our customers on integration and design questions, and you will take projects from first requirements through to go-live. You are structured, solution-oriented and confident in front of customers, and you enjoy turning customer needs into clear specifications that development can act on.

The minimum gross salary for this position is EUR 3.954 per month (full-time equivalent). The final salary will be determined based on your qualifications and relevant experience.
