Job summary
Bevaform is seeking a Footwear Designer & Developer in Salzburg, Austria, to join a small, expert team responsible for sports and performance footwear development from concept to production.
You will design, prototype, and refine footwear concepts, manage tech packs, and coordinate with Asia-based production partners to ensure timely delivery and optimal cost, quality, and performance.
Qualifications
- Education in product design or footwear design with several years' experience.
- Passion for footwear, sports, design and product creation.
- Strong eye for design, colors, materials and trends.
- Good technical knowledge of footwear construction, materials, pattern making and fittings.
- Ability to combine creative thinking with technical and commercial awareness.
- English fluency; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop new footwear and design concepts.
- Work on creative and technical aspects of development.
- Create and maintain designs and tech packs with drawings and color CADs.
- Research market needs, competitors, materials and technologies.
- Turn concepts into viable products considering design, performance, costing and production.
- Review samples for design, fit, quality, manufacturability and cost.
- Collaborate with development and production teams in Asia.
- Monitor timelines and address delays.
- Contribute to collections and presentations for customers.
