OMICRON electronics GmbH is seeking a Software Test Engineer - Embedded to join a cross-functional agile team responsible for the CPX 200 measurement device and its embedded software.

You will design and execute system tests, develop automated tests in C++, and guide the release cycle while collaborating closely with product management and development to ensure high quality and timely delivery.

Your role

• Be part of a cross-functional agile development team
• Ensure the software quality of our CPX 200 measurement device and its embedded application throughout the development life cycle
• Design and execute system tests and guide the release cycle
• Plan and conduct field tests from a customer perspective and analyze issues that arise
• Develop, execute and maintain automated tests for our software solutions in C++
• Ensure a shared understanding of requirements and enable well-founded decisions by collaborating closely with product management and development
• Actively support knowledge sharing within the team and continuously develop your technical expertise

• Electrotechnical or mechatronics background and relevant work experience in quality assurance
• Familiarity with test automation and object-oriented programming
