Zusammenfassung

OMICRON electronics is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop and maintain the in‑house Linux distribution for our test and measurement products. You will deploy, configure and maintain the distro, and design software components in C/C++ for Linux-based systems.

Ideal candidates have five+ years of C/C++ on Linux, hands-on embedded Linux experience, and proficiency with networking, real-time Linux, cross‑compilation and toolchains.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in information technology, communications engineering or related field.
• At least five years of professional experience developing software components or systems in C and C++ on Linux.
• Practical experience in embedded systems, including Linux kernel and/or driver development.
• Experience with networking, real-time Linux, embedded hardware, cross-compilation and toolchains.
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to software development.
• Teamwork with a high degree of personal responsibility.
