OMICRON electronics GmbH is seeking a Software Test (Automation) Engineer to build and run automated tests for web applications and cloud/Windows platforms using C#/.NET. You will design test plans, create data sets, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality with modern tooling and practices.

The role requires hands-on automation in Playwright, xUnit, Selenium, and a solid OO programming background, plus English fluency and a collaborative mindset in an agile setting.

Job Description

Your role

• Test software products developed in an agile environment forCloud and Windows platforms in C#and.NET
• Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans, test cases and test data
• Design and implement automatedtests using object-oriented testing frameworkssuch asPlaywright,xUnit, Selenium
• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure the automated execution of tests for each code change
• You are an advocate for improvements to test infrastructure and tools where necessary.
  

What makes you a great fit

• Ideally, several years of professional experience as a Software Test Engineer or Test Automation Engineer
• Hands-on experience working on web or cloud development projects
• A solid understanding of object-oriented principles and proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is an advantage
• Experience using AI in software testing is a plus
• Fluency in English
