OMICRON electronics GmbH is seeking a Software Test Engineer - Embedded to join a cross-functional agile team in Klaus, Austria. You will ensure the quality of our CPX 200 device software through development, testing, and release cycles.

Responsibilities include designing and executing system tests, conducting field tests, and maintaining automated tests in C++. English communication, initiative, and collaboration with product management are essential.

Job Description

Your role

• Be part of a cross-functional agile development team
• Ensure the software quality of our CPX 200 measurement device and its embedded application throughout the development life cycle
• Design and execute system tests and guide the release cycle
• Plan and conduct field tests from a customer perspective and analyze issues that arise
• Develop, execute and maintain automated tests for our software solutions in C++
• Ensure a shared understanding of requirements and enable well-founded decisions by collaborating closely with product management and development
• Actively support knowledge sharing within the team and continuously develop your technical expertise

• Familiarity with test automation and object-oriented programming
